Cancellation policy
The following cancellation conditions arise from the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry: In case of cancellation more than 6 months before the time at which the first catering service should be provided under the relevant catering agreement, the customer is not obliged to pay any compensation to the catering company.
o In case of cancellation > than 3 months before the said time, the customer is obliged to pay 10% of the reservation value to the catering company.
o In case of cancellation > than 2 months before the said time, the customer is obliged to pay 15% of the reservation value to the catering company.
o In case of cancellation > than 1 month before the said time, the customer is obliged to pay 35% of the reservation value to the catering company.
o In case of cancellation > than 14 days before the said time, the customer is obliged to pay 60% of the reservation value to the catering company.
o In case of cancellation > than 7 days before the said time, the customer is obliged to pay 85% of the reservation value to the catering company.
o In case of cancellation 7 days or less before the said time, the customer is obliged to pay 100% of the reservation value to the catering company.
Changes in numbers
Changes in numbers of more than 5% of the number of persons stated in the program confirmation will be accepted up to 2 weeks before the meeting. Up to two working days before your event, you can inform us of the final number of persons, with a maximum deviation of 5% from the confirmed number. If these numbers are not provided or not provided on time, Van der Valk Hotel Ridderkerk will at least use the last number of persons provided. We kindly request changes and cancellations to be communicated to us in writing or by email.
Change in room setup
If the room setup needs to be changed on the day itself, we will charge you an additional 25% room rental.

Hotel rooms groups

Cancellation policy room reservations (groups)
In case of cancellation of the entire or a part of the reservation, the hotel will charge the following percentages of cancellation costs on the canceled value.
We also offer you the possibility to deduct 10% of the reserved number of rooms free of charge up to 2 working days before the first arrival date. On the day of arrival, you can deduct a maximum of 5% free of charge until 12.00.
Group < 25 rooms
• In case of cancellation up to 4 weeks before arrival date 0%
• In case of cancellation up to 1 week before arrival date 75%
• In case of cancellation within 1 week before arrival date 100%
Group 25 to 50 rooms
• In case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before arrival date 0%
• In case of cancellation up to 4 weeks before arrival date 50%
• In case of cancellation within 4 weeks before arrival date 100%
Group > 50 rooms
• In case of cancellation up to 12 weeks before arrival date 0%
• In case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before arrival date 50%
• In case of cancellation up to 4 weeks before arrival date 75%
• In case of cancellation within 4 weeks before arrival date 100%

Quotation and general terms and conditions
• All our rates are non-commissionable unless otherwise agreed.
• The prices offered in this quotation are based on the numbers as shown in the quotation. In case of interim changes in the numbers, Van der Valk Hotel Ridderkerk reserves the right to adjust the quotation/the offer.
