HOTEL RIDDERKERK IS OPEN

For the time being, our restaurant is closed for guests from outside the hotel. Fortunately, our hotel is still open for hotel guests and business meetings in our meeting rooms. Hotel guests can still make use of our breakfast, lunch and dinner in our restaurant. It is also possible to work for a day in one of our hotel rooms. On this page, we will further inform you about our measures. We would like to ask you to take these measures into account to ensure your health and that of our employees. 

Culinary

Hotel guests are welcome in our restaurant and hotel bar. 

  • Hotel guests can make use of our breakfast, lunch and dinner in our restaurant. 
  • Our restaurant is daily open for hotel guests from 11.00 - 22.00.
  • Our hotel bar is daily open for hotel guests from 7.00 - 22.00 (monday to friday) and 8.00 - 22.00 (saturday and sunday). 
  • We will close our restaurant and hotel bar at 22.00.
  • Room service is available for both dishes and drinks, also after 22.00
  • All our colleagues are working with face masks.
  • Wearing of face masks is appreciated when moving inside our hotel and restaurant.
  • We ask you to wait 1.5 meters apart until our host shows you a table.
  • We apply a maximum of 4 guests per table, unless you are from the same household. 
  • We ask you to keep 1.5 meters distance to our other guests and hotel staff during your stay. 
  • We ask you to disinfect your hands when you entry our hotel and restaurant.

Guests from outside the hotel

We may not receive any guests from outside the hotel in our restaurant and hotel bar. 

 


 

Hotel facilities

Our hotel facilities are open for hotel guests. 

  • In connection with possible source and contact research, we are obliged to ask a number of questions to all our guests and to register your personal information up to 14 days. Due to the number of questions we have to ask, check-in may take longer than you are used to. We kindly ask for your understanding. 
  • Hotel guests are welcome in our restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 
  • We use time slots in order to spread the number of guests during the breakfast buffet. This allows us to limit crowds at the buffet and give our guests the opportunity to distance themselves from each other and our hotel staff. During check-in, our reception staff will reserve a time slot for breakfast in consultation with you. 
  • All our colleagues are working with face masks. 
  • Wearing of face masks is appreciated when moving inside our hotel and restaurant.

 


 

Meetings and gatherings

You can make a reservations for one of our meeting rooms. Because of the current government rules, we ask you to personally contact our Sales department via + 31 (0) 180 646910 or sales@ridderkerk.valk.com

  • Our room configurations are adjusted at a distance of 1.5 meters so that you can meet safely and securely. We follow the guidelines of our government. 

 


 

Working from home at Hotel Ridderkerk

Do you need a place where you can work concentrated for a day? You can work a day from home in one of our hotel rooms. 

  • Our hotel rooms are equipped with a spacious desk, natural day light, free wifi and a coffee and tea machine. 
  • You can make a reservation for a working place for a day (9.00 - 17.00) for €50.00. This includes two bottles of water, use of the coffee and tea machine and a sandwich lunch in your room. Of course, it is also possible to order room service. 
  • The hotel rooms can only be booked as a home office for one person.

Safe and comfortable

At Van der Valk, the health, safety and well-being of our guests and employees has the highest priority. In order to guarantee your health and safety, we would like to ask you to observe the following policy during your visit to our hotel:

  • Follow indicated walking direction and hygiene measures
  • Keep 1.5 meters distance from other guests and employees
  • Do not shake hands with fellow guests or hotel staff
  • Wash your hands regularly and in accordance with RIVM guidelines
  • Use paper towels to dry your hands
  • Cough and sneeze in your elbow and turn away from fellow guests and hotel staff
  • Preferably pay with pin or contactless

Do you have symptoms of a cold, such as a runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, mild cough or increase to 38 degrees Celsius? Then we ask you to stay at home and not to come to the hotel.

Frequently asked questions


Can Van der Valk be open as a hotel and restaurant?
Yes, according to government guidelines it is allowed to be open as a hotel and restaurant for hotel guests. Our restaurant and hotel bar are open untill 22.00. Hotel guests can make use of our breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast, we work with time frames. 

Is visiting a Van der Valk hotel safe?
Van der Valk takes your health and that of the employees very seriously. We have tightened measures within the hotel so that this can be guaranteed. All Van der Valk hotels are furnished according to the guidelines of the RIVM. As a hotel, we do everything we can to keep risks to a minimum.

As a (hotel) guest, can I use the restaurant facilities?
Yes, our hotel guests can use the restaurant. We use stricter measures here to make your visit to our restaurant as safe as possible. Our à la carte restaurant is daily open for lunch and dinner. For our hotel guests, we serve an extended breakfast in our restaurant.

Is it possible to order room service?
Yes, you can order room service from your hotel room via the tablet in your room. 

What facilities are open in the hotel?
Our restaurant and the hotel bar are open to hotel guests. Our à la carte restaurant is daily open for lunch and dinner. In our buffet restaurant, we serve an extended breakfast for our hotel guests. We use time blocks during breakfast. Unfortunately we may not receive any guests from outside the hotel in our restaurant and hotel bar. 

Is it possible to use facilities such as renting an (electric) bicycle at the hotel?
Yes. We recommend to reserve your bike in advance. This can be done by telephone or e-mail.

Can I cancel or change my booking?
This depends on the conditions of your booking. When you make a reservation through our own website, you can book the flexible rate, so you can cancel until 12:00 on the day of arrival.

Can I change my booking on the day of arrival if I have a cold or cough?
This is possible if you have opted for the flexible rate.
