New at Van der Valk Hotel Ridderkerk: the possibility to rent an e-fatbike from KNAAP for only €33.50 per day (including insurance).

Whether you want to take a ride to the center of Rotterdam or explore the challenging paths of the nearby countryside, our e-fatbikes offer you the perfect way to enjoy our surroundings. You can easily cycle through various bike routes located near the Oude Maasheuvel, the Polder Landscape Hoekse Waard, or the famous Kinderdijk. At this location, you can visit beautiful windmills. Prefer experiencing the hustle and bustle of the city? You can also cycle through Rotterdam and visit various sights, such as the Erasmus Bridge.

Depending on the selected mode, the bike has a range of up to 45 kilometers. The maximum speed is 25 km/h. This allows you to easily cover long distances while enjoying the scenery. You do not need a helmet for this bike. You can just take off without any extra gear! Even if you have reached the maximum distance, the e-fatbike can still be used as a regular bike to finish your ride. So many benefits!

House Rules:

  • Start reservation: 09:00, until (latest) 21:00.

  • Maximum 1 adult + 1 child (up to 15 years old) per e-fatbike.

  • Reservation from 18 years old, or 15 years old under the supervision of an adult.

  • Maximum weight 160KG (at maximum weight, range decreases).

Insurance:

As a guest, you should be aware that in case of loss or theft of the E-fatbike, an excess of €1,150 applies. However, the rental price of €33.50 per e-fatbike includes an insurance of €3.50 per E-bike which reduces the excess to €350. It is important to note that this arrangement does not apply to damage to third parties; the renter is fully liable for this.
